Licensed stock and domestic bore is situated only 50 metres from the proposed dump site and is down gradient from the proposed operational area.  (Click here for more)

The bore is water-bearing at  7 metres and we have serious concerns for the future  integrity of groundwater in the area as Council's previous records show.

The EPA discovered in their audit of the Armidale landfill as part of their 2002 report into Rural Landfills (page 5) that there was contamination of nearby wells.
